The Curtin HIVE is looking for motivated students to undertake a 10 week internship with the HIVE and academic supervisors. The internships will run from the 27th of November 2017 to February 2018, with a 2 week break over Christmas. Selected students will receive a $6,000 tax-free scholarship over the course of the internship. An estimated 7-10 internships are on offer. At the end of the internship, students will present their work in the HIVE and prepare a report. The projects are aimed at 3rd year or honours students in a range of disciplines.
The HIVE is Curtin’s impressive visualisation and immersive technologies facility. The four large-scale display systems in the HIVE can be used to turn complex data into powerful images, creating and communicating new knowledge through the tools and techniques of immersive visualisation and simulation.
