Do you want to learn more about the industry you are aspiring to work in? Would you like to develop your professional skills and network through a mentoring experience?
Curtin’s Industry Mentoring Program partners you with an experienced professional who has worked in your chosen field.
Through Curtin’s Industry Mentoring Program (IMP) you will be connected with an industry mentor and, together, you will identify what you hope to accomplish during the program and then work collaboratively to meet these goals.
You will have five months to ask your mentor questions about their experience, what skills have been most impactful in their journey, and how they got to where they are now. As you build your relationship with your mentor you will be able to strategically achieve the program goals you’ve set.
You are the driver of your mentoring journey – your mentor will have a wealth of guidance and experience for you to tap into.
There are a limited number of places available in IMP.
IMP is open to Curtin undergraduate students in the second year or beyond of their studies. You will need to be available for at least one hour each fortnight to connect with your mentor for the five month duration of the program.
Monday 29 April: You’ll be notified of the outcome of your application.
Monday 6 May: Successful applicants will be given access to IMP’s mentoring platform. You’ll be able to see suggested mentor matches and submit a request to be paired for the program.
