Unlocking your ‘Enrol in Units’ step

Follow the guide below to work out how and what you will study with UniReady and ensure you have selected the best units, attendance mode and study load for your circumstances.

Your ‘Enrol in Units’ step will remain locked until you have completed these tasks and your Enrolment Unlocking Form has been processed.

1. Use our optional units tool to decide which units you’ll study

• This tool will show you which optional units are recommended or required for your future course.
• You can use the tool multiple times to check more than one undergraduate course.

2. Note key semester dates on Curtin’s academic calendar

• Teaching start date: When the course officially begins.
• Last enrolment via eStudent: The last day to enrol into units or change between fully online and internal
• Census date: Last date to withdraw from units without risking an academic or financial penalty
• Centrally scheduled exams: If your unit has a final examination you must be available for the entire period.

3. Decide if you will study full-time or part-time

• You can study UniReady full-time and part-time. Check out our study load presentation to learn more.

4. Decide if you will study fully online, internally or a combination of both

• All units are available internally (on-campus classes) and fully online. Access the attendance mode presentation to find out what that involves.

5. Submit your UniReady Enrolment Unlocking Form

• Once your form has been submitted, the UniReady team will unlock your enrolment. Note, this is a manual process and can take up to three working days.
• Read the information on the form carefully, as you may be prompted to contact UniReady Admin or UniReady Study Support for assistance before enrolling.
