LGBTQIA+ support

At Curtin, you’re welcomed into an environment where you’re respected and valued, regardless of your sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Your community

Ally training

The Ally program helps create a safe, inclusive university environment that celebrates the unique talents and perspectives of LGBTQIA+ people.

To become an ALLY, sign up to do ALLY Level 1 Training [An Introduction to Being an ALLY]. This training will support awareness and knowledge of the contemporary challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ identifying people.

Queer Department at the Guild

The Guild’s Queer Department is an invaluable service for any Curtin student who identifies as sexually or gender diverse.

It provides support, advocacy and a safe space for queer-identifying students and allies.

LGBTQIA+ research network

If you’re a research student, check out the LGBTQIA+ Research Network at the Centre for Human Rights Education.
