If you’re moving to Kalgoorlie this semester make sure you attend the on campus events to introduce you to key support areas and services and meet your fellow classmates. You won’t want to miss it!
Explore accommodation options
Living on-campus is a great way to meet new people and get involved in a range of social activities. Located within walking distance of the Curtin Kalgoorlie Campus and Kalgoorlie’s central precinct, the Agricola Residential College provides accommodation and recreational facilities.
Register for O-Week activities
Registration for the following O-Week activities is essential due to number restrictions. Please complete the registration form below by 11am, Thursday 11 July if you are interested in attending any of the following:
- Art Walk (Tuesday, 16 July 2024)
- Museum of the Goldfields (Wednesday, 17 July 2024)
- Hannans North Tourist Mine and Gold Pour (Thursday, 18 July 2024)

Moving to Kalgoorlie
Use these tips and resources to ensure your move to Kalgoorlie is a smooth one.
When you arrive
Kalgoorlie Airport is about 5km away from the centre of Kalgoorlie. If you’ve completed an acceptance letter to stay at Agricola, you can request to be picked up. Alternatively, there are taxi services in Kalgoorlie.
If you’re travelling from Perth, you can take the Prospector train, which is a service that takes between six and seven hours.
Getting around Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie has a regular bus service that covers most of the town, including streets just a few minutes walk from the Curtin campus and student accommodation.
