Support Curtin students facing financial difficulty by volunteering or donating to the Community Pantry which aims to provide low barrier access to basic food supplies and other essentials.
Joining Curtin Volunteers! was the best decision I’ve made at Curtin. I’ve found myself in so many new and interesting places and situations, helping at agricultural shows, riding horses, hauling trees, making fairy floss, dressing up, singing songs around campfires, watching fireworks, playing with kids, making food hampers, and all the rest! It also led me to my closest friends at university, and a sense of connection I couldn’t find in my course. These experiences also enabled me to find employment in my chosen field – the heritage industry – before I’d even graduated, as I could demonstrate community service and leadership skills.”
