Curtin Community Pantry

The Curtin Community Pantry, an initiative made possible through the generosity of the students, staff and the wider community, aims to support Curtin students facing financial difficulty by providing low barrier access to basic food supplies and other essentials.

In 2025, the Pantry will be taking a slightly different approach. We will be transitioning from the physical Curtin Community Pantry to a Virtual Pantry. Under the new system, students experiencing financial hardship or food insecurity will be able to apply for a Coles or Woolworths grocery voucher, which can be redeemed at their local supermarket.

This model aims to ensure that Community Pantry vouchers reach students who need them most, in a more timely and efficient manner. As part of this change, the Curtin Community Pantry will no longer be accepting non-perishable food or hygiene product donations through our donation boxes.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Curtin Community Pantry!

Apply for a Voucher

If you’re a Curtin student experiencing financial hardship or food insecurity, you’re welcome to apply for a Community Pantry voucher which can be redeemed at your local Coles or Woolworths supermarket. Community Pantry voucher applications will close each Friday and all applications will be assessed based on individual circumstances. Successful applicants will be notified via SMS when their vouchers are ready for collection the following week. If you require assistance sooner than that, please contact the Student Wellbeing Advisory Service.
