Why might I want to speak to a Student Success Advisor?

You are encouraged to contact your Student Success Advisor at any time, but especially if you:

• Have an equity background and would like a safe space to find out and access support services available to you.
• Would like regular support in relation to your studies, unit progress or just to talk about your general experience at uni.
• Need guidance in mapping your goals, creating action plans or exploring opportunities to enhance your journey at Curtin.
• Are struggling with your studies or failing your assessments and don’t know what to do about it or just looking for study tips and strategies.
• Need help understanding uni jargon and ‘How-To’s’ like; how to ask for an extension, or what to do if unexpected circumstances are impacting your study, including personal matters and challenges outside of uni.
