UniSkills Study Essentials

Delivered by the Curtin Library, this online module is designed to help equip you with the tools you need to be a successful student, and contains tailored information for OUA students.

OUA Student Lounge

Launching 24 February 2025

The Lounge is for Curtin OUA students to connect, find helpful study and support information, and create a supportive community. All OUA students will be automatically added. Students will be able to find the OUA Student Lounge on their Blackboard under Organisations.

New to Curtin Mentoring

Connect with experienced students who can guide you as you navigate your first study period. Your Mentor can share helpful resources, offer advice and provide useful information to help you succeed in your studies.
To take advantage of this program, you will need to sign up to the program on our mentoring platform, Mentorloop.

Learn about your fees

If you are in a Commonwealth Supported Place, you are required to pay the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF) each study period. If eligible, you can defer the SSAF by completing an electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form for SA-HELP before the census date. You can check your eligibility on the Study Assist website.
