Application deadlines

Here are the standard application deadlines that apply to many of our courses. You should check for course-specific and pathway-specific application deadlines below.
Domestic closing dates
General undergraduate
- Semester 1, 2025: Applications are now closed for all courses.
- Semester 2, 2025: Applications will open on Monday 3 March 2025 and close for most courses on Wednesday 9 July 2025.
*Some courses have differing application opening dates. Please refer to the ‘Course specific deadlines’ section for more information.
Postgraduate
- Semester 1, 2025: Applications are now closed for most courses.
- Semester 2, 2025: Applications will open on Monday 3 March 2025 and close for most courses on Wednesday 9 July 2025.

Re-admission
- If your academic status is currently listed as ‘terminated’, the deadline for readmission in Semester 2 2024 is 4.30pm on Monday 10 June 2024.
- If your academic status is currently listed as ‘terminated’, the deadline for readmission in Semester 1 2025 is 4.30pm on Monday 13 January 2025.

International closing dates
Undergraduate
Application Closing Dates:
- For countries listed here (CountryList.pdf), application closing is 20 weeks before course start/teaching start date.
- All other countries application closing is 12 weeks before course start/teaching start date.
- If you are currently in Australia on a valid visa (subclass 500), application closing is 3 weeks before the course start/teaching start date.
Notes:
- You may refer to the Academic Calendar Academic calendar | Current Students (curtin.edu.au) for all course start/teaching start dates.
- The above closing dates are also applicable if you require a pathway offer (e.g. Curtin English courses)
- Some course applications close earlier than the above-mentioned deadlines. Refer to these specific deadlines below which may be subject to change at any time.
