You don’t need to be the highest performing student or experiencing financial hardship to be eligible; there are scholarships available for a variety of backgrounds and achievements.

You can search for scholarships by merit-based or needs-based criteria, or both. Merit-based scholarships consider your academic achievements. Needs-based scholarships provide support based on your financial background.

Explore scholarships

Over $7 million in funding across more than 1,000 scholarships are awarded to Curtin students each year. All scholarships are now open for applications; visit the scholarships pages to determine your eligibility.

Curtin Excellence Scholarship

The Excellence scholarship offers support ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 in value to current high school leavers who receive an ATAR of 96 and above.

Closing date: 17 December 2024

Curtin STAR Scholarship

A cash payment ranging between $500 and $1,500 per semester, running the expected duration of your undergraduate degree. Awarded on a need basis.

Closing date: 18 November 2024

John Curtin Scholarship Program (JCSP)

This program includes John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship and Julia Gillard Women in Leadership Scholarship and provides course fee coverage, international study experience and an annual $2,000 payment.

Closing date: 11 September 2024

Harry Perkins Memorial Scholarship

A $2,000 per-semester payment – awarded on a need basis – for undergraduate students relocating to Perth from a regional or remote area to study.

Closing date: 18 November 2024

Indigenous scholarships

Explore scholarships specially tailored for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students – with options based on academic achievement and financial needs.
