My result says 'X', what does it mean?

UPDATED 01 FEB 2024 | 7:42AM

A grade of 'X' means the Board of Examiners has offered you the opportunity to do a further assessment task to show you have met the unit learning outcomes.

Should you pass the further assessment, your grade will be changed to 'PX'. If you did not pass the task, your grade will be 'FX'. Students have the opportunity to decline a further assessment, in which their final grade will revert to the original failed result.

You should refer to your Official Communications Channel and student email account for information and instructions on the location and timing of the further assessment.

For more information visit the Your results, grades and progress page.
