What do I need to know about Orientation Week and is it compulsory?

UPDATED 16 SEP 2024 | 4:25AM

The orientation program is one week prior to the commencement of each semester and all new students are required to attend.

Besides the compulsory session for each faculty, we do recommend new students to register for other sessions held during the Orientation Week. There will be a range of social opportunities and essential information sessions on topics such as university study skills, on-campus services and much more.

Information about the dates for compulsory orientation session and enrolment briefings for international students are included in your Letter of Offer.

As for other workshops and activities happening during Orientation Week, please use the Personalised Orientation Timetable on your OASIS homepage. By hovering your mouse over each added session on the timetable, you will be able to find out when and where each session will be held, as well as the person to contact for further assistance if needed.
For more information, please visit Orientation website.
