UPDATED 18 JAN 2024 | 8:36AM
Before changing your enrolment, we encourage you to note the  and  of your study period, as there may be financial or academic penalties. If you are an international student on a student visa, you must maintain enrolment in 100 credits each semester, unless you have been granted approval to . Reducing your study load may impact benefits you receive from external organisations, such as scholarships, Centrelink payments or the Transperth tertiary concession. If you are studying through Open Universities Australia (OUA), you will need to amend your enrolment through the OUA Student Hub or by contacting OUA directly. You will not be able to enrol or withdraw from units in eStudent.

To withdraw from a unit via eStudent, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into OASIS.
  2. Click on the eStudent tile.
  3. Click on the My Enrolment tab.
  4. Click on Withdraw From Units on the left hand side.
  5. Check the tick box(es) of the unit(s) you wish to withdraw from, then click Proceed to Withdraw.
  6. On the next screen, carefully check the withdrawal information. Remember, you will be liable for tuition fees and a "WD" (Withdrawn) will be recorded on your Academic Transcript for any unit(s) where the census date has past.
  7. If the withdrawal information is correct, click Withdraw.
  8. If you are withdrawn successfully, you will see a green tick on the next screen.
  9. Click View Current Enrolment to return to your current enrolment details.
All classes you were registered in will be unregistered once you have withdrawn from a unit.

If you wish to withdraw from your course entirely, please withdraw from all of your units using the steps above, then submit your request to Curtin Connect through our online enquiry form.
