Visit the Curtin Handbook to find out which units you should enrol in. The handbook displays the study plan structure based on a full-time study load, you will need to adjust this if you are studying part-time. To create a study plan, follow the steps below:
- Search for your course on the Curtin handbook. Once you have located your course from the search results, click on your course.
- Scroll down to the Course structure section.
- Click Expand All to view the complete study plan.
- Refer to the Year and Semester that applies to your current study progress.
- Check you have met the unit prerequisites and the unit is running in the relevant study period by clicking on each individual unit and scrolling down to Prerequisites and then Location and delivery.
If you need assistance selecting your units after viewing the handbook, submit an online enquiry to request personalised enrolment advice.
The number of credits you take each study period is also known as your study load. Curtin deems 75 credits and above within a half year period as a full-time study load for domestic students and 100 credits within a half year period for international students. You are not obligated to undertake a full-time load unless you are bound by student visa conditions or an external organisation.
If you are studying through Open Universities Australia (OUA), you can view your enrolment planner or download the Degree Guide from the Courses page.
If you are unable to enrol into a unit on eStudent, view for assistance.
