How do I apply for Not for Degree studies?

While you are not required to meet the regular University entry requirements to undertake Not for Degree studies, each application is subject to approval.
To apply for Not for Degree studies, follow the steps below:
- 1. Click the Apply Now button on the Not for Degree application page.
- 2. Follow the prompts on the online application to enter your personal details and upload a copy of your Academic Transcript or other supporting documentation (if applicable).
- ◼ If you are applying to study a Law unit, ensure you also attach your approval letter from the Legal Practice Board.
- ◼ If you are a current Curtin College student, you must include additional documentation with your application.
- 3. Confirm the details you have provided and click Submit.
- 4. You will receive an automatic confirmation after submitting your application. You will be advised of the outcome of your application via email. Applications requiring approval of the Course Coordinator (e.g. Law and Nursing units) may have a longer assessment time.
Applications for Not for Degree studies must be submitted at least one week prior to the start of the relevant study period. View the Academic Calendar for study period start dates.
Not for Degree studies require upfront payment by the tuition payment due date of the enrolled study period. View estimated tuition costs for each unit on the Tuition fees webpage.
