Do I need to wear a uniform at Curtin?
At Curtin, certain courses require you to wear a uniform or protective clothing.
For example, if you are studying chemistry, you will be required to wear enclosed shoes and a lab coat for laboratory classes. Students visiting construction sites must wear a hard hat, and in some cases, safety glasses. Some students undertaking professional practice or practical exams - such as those in occupational therapy and physiotherapy - will be required to wear a specific uniform.
For further clarification on what you may be required to wear for your course, please attend the relevant O-Week session for your faculty, and refer to your Blackboard/Canvas site or email announcements from your faculty. Further information will also be available in your unit outlines.
