Do I need to wear a uniform at Curtin?
At Curtin certain courses require you to wear a uniform or protective clothing etc.
For example, if you are studying Chemistry, it is a requirement to wear enclosed shoes and a lab coat for laboratory classes. Students who visit construction sites will be required to wear a hard hat and in some cases, safety glasses. Some students attending professional practice or taking a practical exam, such as in the case of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, will be required to wear a specific uniform.
For further clarification on what you may be required to wear for your course, please attend the necessary O-Week session specified for your faculty, and refer to the Blackboard or email announcements form your faculty. Further information will also be available in your unit outlines.
