Outline
This double degree provides students with an exciting opportunity to pursue study and qualifications in both engineering and business innovation over a five and half year period, graduating with two bachelor degrees. In Innovation, students study a suite of core business management and innovation-related units aligned to the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the future of work, followed by a set of capstone “transformational experiences” that allow students to expand and apply their skills and knowledge in real world contexts. In Engineering, students can choose from a broad suite of majors after completing the Engineering pre-major (Engineering Foundation Year). Opportunities for global study tours, project units, and work integrated learning allow students to combine their learning from across the double degree. On exiting the degree, students should have strong interdisciplinary skills and knowledge, and the ability to participate in addressing the challenges of the 21st century.
