If you are interested in a career in engineering, this course will give you the foundational knowledge and skills you need for diverse roles in the engineering sector.
You will learn how to:
- apply foundational principles and concepts of engineering across diverse contexts, preparing you for further learning or paraprofessional roles in the field
- use critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills relevant to engineering challenges use technology and communicate complex engineering concepts to specialists and the general public
- consider global engineering perspectives and adhere to international data science standards
- demonstrate respect for and integrate Indigenous values and knowledge into engineering practices
- work collaboratively in teams and independently, fostering lifelong learning skills.
This course also provides a seamless pathway into Curtin’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree course, which offers majors in 10 fields of engineering.
