This course is designed for people who are aiming for a career in science, computing or related technology fields.
You’ll gain the foundational skills that are relevant to roles in diverse industries, with the flexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving science careers.
You will learn how to:
- apply scientific principles and concepts across diverse learning and professional contexts
- cultivate critical and creative thinking skills, essential for problem-solving in scientific disciplines
- use technology to communicate complex scientific concepts to experts and the public
- embrace global perspectives in science and adhere to international data science standards
- respect and integrate Indigenous values, cultures, and knowledges in scientific endeavours
- promote teamwork and independent learning, essential for lifelong personal and professional development.
After completing this undergraduate certificate, you will be eligible for entry into Curtin’s Science, Multidisciplinary Science and Information Technology bachelor degree courses (with up to 100 credits for units completed).
