Greg has been an influential leader in Curtin’s prestigious and highly successful Ignition program since it’s inception 15 years ago.
A seasoned leader in Western Australia’s tech investment landscape, Greg Riebe has a 40-year career spanning start-ups, scale-ups, and established enterprises. Recognised for identifying and nurturing high-potential ventures, his experience includes roles as Director of Consulting for a national firm, leading IT and innovation for a listed insurer, managing Perth’s first tech incubator, and advising SMEs on scaling, value creation, and investment readiness.
A co-founder of multiple technology businesses, he now leads his own advisory practice, supporting corporates, scale-ups, early-stage ventures, and angel investors. He is also the driving force behind ScaleUP WA, the state’s premier growth program for innovation-driven SMEs. In recognition of his contributions, he was named Australian Angel Investor of the Year (2020) and received the WA Pearcey Entrepreneur Award. Additionally, he serves as a Non-Executive Director/Chairman for several Australian technology firms, reinforcing his impact on the nation’s tech and investment sectors.
