What flexible study options do you offer?

- evening classes, delivered at our campus in the heart of Perth city from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm over a 12-week trimester
- block teaching, where the contact hours are taught over four days (two Friday–Saturday blocks), providing you with the flexibility to complete the remaining coursework over the 12-week trimester,
- the ability to mix face-to-face study and online study – you can choose to attend class for some units and complete others fully online.
- gain unit credits by completing eligible Executive Education masterclasses, which can be a one-day, two-day or five-day masterclasses such as our Ignition innovation program. Discover our current range of masterclass programs at curtin.edu/masterclasses.
Can I study an MBA if I’m working full-time?
Yes, our MBA is designed to meet the demands of the working professional. Classes are at our Perth City campus in Murray Street, with classes scheduled to help you to combine work, study and life! You can attend evening classes, attend block sessions or complete units online. And you can mix face-to-face and online as it suits you – there’s no need to commit when you enrol.
Curtin’s MBA is available each trimester, giving you the choice of starting in January, May or September and studying for 12 weeks. This allows you to complete more units each year and complete your course faster compared with a semester-based course.
How is online study different from on-campus study?
Our online students complete the same coursework and assessments as those studying on-campus. They have the same unit coordinator as on-campus students and the same level of access to your coordinator, but with the flexibility of self-directed learning. You’ll also be able to attend five virtual interactive sessions over the trimester, online and in real-time with your unit coordinator and fellow students; however, the sessions aren’t mandatory and will be recorded so you can watch them at a time that suits you.

What if I can’t afford study fees at the moment?
Undertaking an MBA is an investment in your career, but we recognise that the costs can be a barrier to gaining the qualification you need for career growth. There are scholarships available and financial assistance options that can help you manage study costs, including the Government’s Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). If you defer the payment of fees through FEE-HELP, you won’t start repaying the loan until your income reaches the repayment threshold. Find out more.
