The science careers of tomorrow STEM from here

Changes in climate, technology, chemistry, mining, agriculture and all things science mean today’s science degree must constantly evolve too. Our Bachelor of Science is designed to be a flexible degree for a flexible future.

Study science your way

There are three ways to study the Bachelor of Science at Curtin, so you have the flexibility to study science your way.

Option 1

As a double major with another science major.

Option 2

As a single major with a specialisation from a science or non-science discipline.

Option 3

As a major with a minor from a science or non-science discipline.

Widen the scope of your degree, widen your career possibilities

Combine a science major with a minor or specialisation from a completely different field, to broaden your skillset and boost your employability.

For example, pairing environmental science with an English minor means you won’t just have the potential to make climate science breakthroughs – you could also be employed to communicate them to others. Or you could major in agriculture and also study economics to create a skill set for an influential role helping vulnerable populations access sufficient food for physical and economic wellbeing.

You will also have the opportunity to work with industry partners on your ‘capstone project’ in your final year of study.
