Why is my loan only for 7 days?

All library books on loan can be requested by another borrower.
A book may have requests at the time of borrowing, or it may be requested after you have borrowed it, but you are guaranteed a minimum 7-day loan.
Avoid overdue fines and return the book on time, then you can request it again.
