If you withdraw from a unit before census date there is no impact to you financially or academically. You will not be charged for any units withdrawn before census date, and they will not appear on your academic record. If you withdraw from a unit after census date, you will be liable for full fees of the unit, however the unit will not appear on your academic record. If your studies have been disrupted by difficult or unexpected circumstances, which prevented you from being able to withdraw before the deadline or successfully complete one or more units, you can apply for a refund and remission of fees. Visit Curtin’s Special Circumstances page for more information or to lodge an application.
