Yes. You are given a Curtin student email as soon as you are officially admitted to your course.
Your student email account (e.g. firstname.lastname@student.curtin.edu.au) is for your private use, so it isn't monitored by Curtin at all.
Please note that your student email access ceases shortly after you conclude your studies, please visit Curtin's Changes to Email for Life FAQs for further information.
