I am unable to enter Australia due to visa processing delays. If my student visa is refused, will I receive a full refund for my course fees?

UPDATED 24 OCT 2024 | 3:01AM

If you are studying a Curtin English course, the English Language Courses Refund Agreement will apply. You will receive a refund on the ‘unused component’ of the English Language Course in accordance with the ESOS Instrument (Calculation of Refund).

If you are studying a mainstream course, the International Student Refund Agreement will apply. You will receive a full refund and an administrative fee of $500 may apply if you receive your visa refusal before the census date. Should you decide to continue studies after the census date and receive a visa refusal then, your refund will be calculated based on the ‘unused component’ of your tuition fees in accordance with the ESOS Instrument (calculation of Refund).
