How do I request to defer an assessment?

UPDATED 01 FEB 2024 | 7:26AM
You may submit an Assessment Extension application form (this can be found on the Student Administration forms page) to extend the deadline of your assessment or final examination/test. This is applicable to all students who are experiencing circumstances beyond their control and are unable to submit an assessment on time.
You are required to submit the form before your assessment due date/time with any relevant supporting documentation. In extenuating circumstances, we can accept an application up to 5 working days after your assessment due date/time if you can provide evidence to explain the delay (e.g. emergency or severe illness). You will be notified of the outcome of your application via your Official Communications Channel (OCC) in OASIS.
For further information on the reasons and parameters for supporting documentation, view the Assessment and Student Progression Manual
If you have technical issues when completing the Assessment Extension application form, try our and resubmit your application.
If you require assistance with your application, please contact Student Wellbeing or Student Assist (Student Guild).
